Here’s a roundup of the issues that affected the railway network today:
- Broken down train in the Egham area (TOC: South West Trains)
- Severe weather affecting various services (TOC: All)
- Broken down train at Pilning (TOC: CrossCountry, First Great Western)
- Broken down train near to Peterborough (TOC: First Capital Connect, Grand Central, Hull Trains, National Express East Coast)
- Broken down train between Oxford and Didcot Parkway (TOC: CrossCountry, First Great Western)
- Broken down train near to Glasgow Central (TOC: First ScotRail)
- Broken down train near to Norwich (TOC: East Midlands Trains, National Express East Anglia)
- Broken down train near to Leeds (TOC: CrossCountry, East Midlands Trains, First Transpennine Express, National Express East Coast, Northern Rail)
- Animals on the line between Staines and Egham (TOC: South West Trains)
There was clearly something up with trains today, but hats off to Network Rail for no serious infrastructure issues!
